I need a Doctor not Medicare.

There are many things in the final Health Care bill I could rant and rave about. I’m no fan and feel this 2300 and some page bill should be burned in a fire. So, I shall choose a couple of items within this amended turd to hover over.

Medicare. This bill will expand your lack of Healthcare to more lack of healthcare. Good luck finding a doctor that accepts medicare. If you do find one, a good percentage of you will be traveling  long distance to get your 30 minute appointment. This also puts more burden on the states and guess where the shit rolls? Down to you, dear community neighbors. This may not be Universal Healthcare but we’ll all be paying for it no matter what. The states are going bankrupt. Some of you are owed money by the state and won’t see it. I can guarantee if you owed money to them, you’d be getting that nastygram in the mail a day late of your due time. I imagine it won’t just be in your paycheck you’ll see the hike. Sinful food would cost more, gas, sales tax. If that pocket looks thin now, wait until it’s empty.

Employer Responsibility. So you got some employees and by law, you are not required to offer them insurance. But if you don’t and they subsidize from the Big Teet of the Government, you get fee’d to death. It’s not a wittle teeny fee, uh-uh, it’s a $2000 fee. Oh but wait! Not just a one time fee but $2000 for each employee!

Via NY Post/Associated Press:

EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITY: As in the Senate bill, businesses are not required to offer coverage. Instead, employers are hit with a fee if the government subsidizes their workers’ coverage. The $2,000-per-employee fee would be assessed on the company’s entire work force, minus an allowance. Companies with 50 or fewer workers are exempt from the requirement. Part-time workers are included in the calculations, counting two part-timers as one full-time worker.

This is my favorite:

GOP HEALTH CARE SUMMIT IDEAS: Following a bipartisan health care summit last month, Obama announced he was open to incorporating several Republican ideas into his legislation. But two of the principle ones – hiring investigators to pose as patients and search for fraud at hospitals and increasing spending for medical malpractice reform initiatives – did not make it into the legislation released Thursday. The legislation incorporates only one, an increase in payments to primary care physicians under Medicaid, an idea mentioned by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa.

All the hoopla, the manure, the downright lies of what this Bipartisan Summit was supposed to be about. To open communication, to actually listen to each other and 1, ONE idea got into the bill?

Unfreakingbelievable. To say the least, I’m disgusted. To say the most would cause me to put an “R” rating on this post. This bill is so full of crap that if it explodes, we’re gonna have brown gooey shit on faces from Alaska to Florida. You could cure global warming with the shit this bill is filled with. We’d block out the sun and could all panic about global cooling.

I won’t even go into the 16,000 IRS agents that will be needed to check on you every month and make sure you have insurance; Or the Privacy Act that is getting thrown out the window.

Am I proud to be an American? When this Bill gets crushed, torn, ripped to shreds and buried in some nuclear waste site…then I will be proud. Reinstating my Patriotism November 2010.

You can see a breakdown here.

EDIT: I still love this Country…I just despise those who are running it. CW.

Going Down in Flames…stopped his insanity.

First, before I start my own rant, I want to make it VERY VERY clear, that I do not condone what Mr. Joseph Stack did in Austin today. Having said that….here we go.

Before reading anything else via foxnews.com, I read what is now being dubbed as his “Manifesto“. I couldn’t help but think to myself, that if I was not reading a suicide letter, I would have agreed with almost everything he said.

Am I insane? No, I don’t think so. Though in many circles, considering I just answered myself..I may be. What’s scary about the situation is this man was right in how he felt. Constantly getting burned by the system while the corrupt or lazy get a free ride. Was he on the edge? Obviously, but crazy…not so sure. It would be easy to label him as such, to get the broom and sweep this guy under the rug.  But just for a second, maybe we can concentrate on the message and not the messenger. Again, this was a tragedy in many senses of the word.

We live in a Country that has become complicated, lost, underestimated, tired and lively. Many people speak out on many different issues. Some are worthy of listening, some are a joke. What kind of Country do we live in when a man like this thinks or believes, this is the only way anyone will listen.  Would anyone have listened to his rant? Would anyone have cared? Will anyone read this and actually listen instead of judging. Who knows though I can assure you, I have no plans of offing myself or anyone else. One thing I have to believe in is things will get better and I can only pray that we don’t turn into a country where violence begins to represent our beliefs.

Back to the “Manifesto”. He writes of his story, his ups and downs, how many times he lost his retirement, how many times he got screwed by “The Man”.

Look around friend’s and foe’s. We are in a downward spiral and I don’t think a couple of pieces of candy will be at the bottom leading me to grow bigger or smaller. This is no adventure, though a white rabbit is leading the way. It’s become the 500lb gorilla but everyone keeps petting it like it’s a cute little hoppy, plushy pet. I have to ask myself why everything has become so complicated? I pay my bills, I have searched and searched for work, I pay daycare even when my son isn’t present. I see the doctor’s that write off an illness that’s serious into something mundane. I see criminals getting away with it again and again and I see politicians who give two shits about you or me. Something has changed and I don’t think it’s us, it’s the system. Somewhere in our young, old age…we lost. What’s depressing is, some of us don’t care anymore. We dance around the ring but no one wants to go in for the knock out. We want to complain and vent, but no one wants to say it when it counts. We’ve become Meek. I want to inherit the Earth…but not without knowing I fought for what was right.

If those in office who have the power only by those who have voted them in actually listened to what we are screaming everyday, maybe we would have a chance. But they won’t. Their agenda is blind and I never thought I’d say it but I’m almost sick of all of them, even my own party. I wish we could start over. Take out all the bullshit and sit quietly around a table rereading our Bill of Rights and the Constitution. It was all we needed to guide us in the right direction. That direction has been skewed, stretched, flipped and torn apart.

I could go on, about everything that has gone wrong but one thing is right; We, the people of the United States, have the power to make change. Not “Change we can believe in”..cause if I hear that bull one more time, I might just hurl all over my keyboard. How about change that is real, tangible. I want to touch it, smell it…taste it.

Joseph Stack will go down in history as a terrorist, as did Timothy McVey. Nobody listened to either of them and what followed was disaster, pain, and was not necessary if good ole’ Washington D.C. had taken two seconds to shut up and listen.

Bush Anonymous and the Battered Woman Syndrome

The other day, I came across Peggy Noonan’s editorial via opinionjournal.com.

It was titled:

Too Bad
President Bush has torn the conservative coalition asunder.

I took a deep breath and the little voice inside my head said…”Oh no, not Peggy!”.

And then I read.

As always, Peggy Noonan has a way with words beyond reproach.

Elegantly, like a Mother to her children, Peggy grounded me. She sent me to my room and told me when I wake up, I can come out.

I was hurt, pouty and stubborn as all hell. I snuck out of the room and decided I’d wake up later.

Two days later, still sneaking around, I caught a peak of Chris Wallace and Newt Gingrich on Sunday Fox News.

The first thing Chris Wallace said is , “Well, joining us now, someone who’s always interesting and often controversial. But these days, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is directing his fire not at Democrats but at problems within his own Republican Party.”

I took a deep breath and the little voice inside my head said, “Oh no, not Newt!”

And then I watched as Newt tore the Republican Party a new…..ahhhh…. well let’s just say a lot of ‘Pubs’ had some cushin’ on the tooshin’ after that interview.

Not to mention….Newt gave Peggy a shout out.

I felt lost, confused. Momma and Dadda Republican were going against the grain.

I went back to Peggy’s column.

This is where the little voice started to change it’s tune :

The White House doesn’t need its traditional supporters anymore, because its problems are way beyond being solved by the base. And the people in the administration don’t even much like the base. Desperate straits have left them liberated, and they are acting out their disdain. Leading Democrats often think their base is slightly mad but at least their heart is in the right place. This White House thinks its base is stupid and that its heart is in the wrong place.

For almost three years, arguably longer, conservative Bush supporters have felt like sufferers of battered wife syndrome. You don’t like endless gushing spending, the kind that assumes a high and unstoppable affluence will always exist, and the tax receipts will always flow in? Too bad! You don’t like expanding governmental authority and power? Too bad. You think the war was wrong or is wrong? Too bad.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh She’s RIGHT!

Listen, I love Bush. I love the cowboy attitude, the let’s kick ass attitude and yet…He’s messed up. I’ve acknowledged these mess-ups outloud but still defended him. And on a few things I still do, the Iraq War being number 1. As a Republican, I can also acknowledge that we were not prepared for Iraq and something’s gotta give. But Terrorism is a real thing and I’d rather it be over there then on U.S. Soil.

But then we have the Immigration issue which seems to be head to head with the Iraq War and what Americans are concerned with most.

A majority of Americans (48% via Rasmussen) do not apporve of the Immigration Bill. 26% aren’t sure, 26% favor it. WOW, that’s a big difference. But instead of the Governement listening to our cries….

via Peggy:

The president has taken to suggesting that opponents of his immigration bill are unpatriotic–they “don’t want to do what’s right for America.” His ally Sen. Lindsey Graham has said, “We’re gonna tell the bigots to shut up.” On Fox last weekend he vowed to “push back.” Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff suggested opponents would prefer illegal immigrants be killed; Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez said those who oppose the bill want “mass deportation.” Former Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson said those who oppose the bill are “anti-immigrant” and suggested they suffer from “rage” and “national chauvinism.”

Excuse me? Unpatriotic? I have stood by this President thru thick and thin, but when over 60% do not like or are unsure of this Bill, we get a big fat slap in the face? I thought we voted you in Mr. President and you were voted in based on OUR views and what WE want and support, Not yours.

Newt Gingrich believes our Governement is Dysfunctional or not functioning at all. He is right, but it’s not just him, this whole Country is Dysfunctional. First we’re Martyr’s, then we’re Scrooge. I’m offended by this, you’re offended by that…let’s sue each other. Let’s change laws based on Minority views not Majority.

How did we stray? Are we so offended by this governement that we’ve decided to go rogue on each other? I mean… really!

We have an election coming up. Some of the Lefties are Extreme to the point of ridiculous, as are some of the Republicans.

I need someone in the middle….we all do.

Some things just HAVE to be compromised. We need to acknowledge Terrorism and realize a little chat over tea won’t solve that problem. At the same time, we need to look at our diversity and celebrate it instead of pointing out all our faults. We all have them, get over it. We’ve become a bunch of pussy cats. “Oh, you called me fat, I’m taking you to court!”, “I’m not the best worker in the world but I should of got that promotion because I’m me and a woman, To Court!”, “Did I just hear the word ‘God’ come from that guys mouth, walking down the sidewalk minding his own business? I’m suing the city for allowing preaching on our sidewalks!”.

Get the BLANK over it.

The only way to get anything done is compromise…..dare I say, share? We were taught these values since the day we came into this world. We teach our children to take turns, listen to each other.  Do as I say, not as I do?

My fellow Republicans, it’s time we did a little bit of waking up. I am and will always be a Conservative, but it doesn’t mean I have to support every Republican in office. I back Bush on Terrorism, I’m not sure I back him on much else these days. I find myself turning the volume down when he speaks.

I’ve said it many times but I will say it again..America is the Greatest Country in the World! But we make it that, no one else. You can’t preach Peace at your rally’s when you won’t shake the hand of your fellow neighbor nor can you be blind to the differences between Bible Times and 21st Century Times.

We all have some waking up to do. We’ve taken a beating for too long and it’s time for a 12 step Program.

The first step?

Hi, My name is CWonder, and I’m a Bushaholic.

Hate Crime? : Channon and Christian

christian_channon.jpg

Yesterday I updated you on Fox News covering this story via Bill Hemmer and “BYA” (Because you asked).

Michelle Malkin of hotair.com also mentioned this yesterday. (she has the video also)

I’m writing this because of the comments I have read.

The one clear outcry I hear is, “If this were 5 white people who had done this to a Black couple, it’d be all over the news”. And you would be right.

Why? Because the ilks of Sharpton and Jackson would be shoving it in our faces, showering the Press with how evil the white man can be.
So I ask you, Are we trying to do the same? I don’t think Black people are evil, do you?

I hope not! These 4 Black men and 1 black woman were evil. Just as every other murderer out there, Black, White, Asian, Indian….etc. Evil. Disgusting. If I had a say, I’d say they should die the way they killed their Victim. And then again, does that mean I’m stooping to their level?

So the question is, what are we to gain by this getting out in the National News Theater?

First, you have to discern whether this was a “Hate Crime” in the typical sense of the phrase. Did they purposely do this because they were white? And if it had been a Black couple, would they have had the same fate?

I’m not sure we can answer that and most likely, will never know unless it comes out in trial. But I will admit, that I have doubts it wasn’t.

My opinion? Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have been in the news a lot lately. Duke and Imus being the most recent of cases. Before the truth of Duke came out, I guarantee a lot of White people were pissed. Why? Because we thought the Duke players were animals. And truth be told, they made White people look like asses. This is a common phenomena these days. White people are trying to move on and far far away from the days of Slavery when Black people were looked down upon and treated like pure shit. The majority of us are not proud of this history. And yet, there are a number of Black people who won’t let us forget.  And maybe we shouldn’t, but damn it, there has got to come a time when we both look at ourselves and each other, admit to all our mistakes, Black and white and get the F*&% Over it. We can never move on if we keep blaming each other for things we had no Control over! I didn’t live back then and neither did you.

So, what does this have to do with Channon and Christian? Because just as white’s are shown their mistakes and evil ways via the news, so should Blacks. Black and White are both capable of horrendous acts and we need to admit to that.

Yesterday I came across this :

Knox Blacks Celebrate Carjacking Rapists in ‘Party’

St. Nicolas Thief, president and founder of Black Poverty Speaks, along with many local Knoxville blacks who live in the Washington Pike area has organized a social action protest celebration championing Lemaricus Davidson and Letalvis Cobbins.

Davidson and Cobbins are the brothers and two of the five suspects charged in the carjacking, kidnapping, rape and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

“We’re coordinating the celebration to to jive with the march angry whites are planning in memory of the victims and because of the ‘media black-out’ they note the case is receiving from national news networks,” Thief, who is currently stationed in Knoxville, said.

“We’re celebrating underprivileged Knoxville blacks who victimize privileged Knoxville whites,” he added.

I was going to post this yesterday but found I couldn’t find an actual “news” link or “newspaper” link to this story.

I found the source was a white supremist blog. Ugh.

Yes the White Supremest/Nazi’s are pushing this story hard. I felt dirty just being on the site.

Nevertheless, if both are true (the plannings of a March by the Nazi’s/Black Poverty Speaks) I say, I’m fine with it.

Why? Because we need extremists in this country. HOLD ON NOW…I don’t want to lose you yet.

When I see or stumble upon a White Supremest website or person, I am reminded of how much I don’t want to be like them. That I am disgusted by their behavior. I assume the same for a majority of Blacks or hope that when you see a group like “Black Poverty Speaks” you say the same thing.

Extremists are at either side of the spectrum..FARRRRRRRRRR on the other side, it’s up to the rest of us to come somewhere in the middle.

LaShawn’s Barber Cornertalked of this a couple of days ago also…as have numerous other blogs. But LaShawn is Black. She is a columnist for the Washington Examiner and has the same opinion that alot of us do, that this Murder was horrific and why aren’t we hearing about it. And let me be clear, I only note the fact that she is Black because of the story.

Reading her post, reinforced my own thoughts about this. It’s good to see evil in the world so the rest of us can come together and acknowledge our condemnation of it.

UPDATE: Christopher and Channon

Your voices have been heard! Bill Hemmer talked of the case on Fox News this morning. The details were limited but…at least it got out there. Hopefully this will be a snowball effect!

Blogging and writing the major news outlets will get this story out there.

Nothing to link to except the old wire stories… But I’ll keep my eye open.

A Horrifying Murder..Bet you never heard about it.

I was blog surfing when I came across “Errant Thoughts from a Disquieted Mind“.

Horrifying, Disgusting..I have no more words. Her Blog post is below.

The Unspeakable Murders of Channon and Christopher

May 16th, 2007 ·

I can find no words to describe the inconceivable evil that five human beings brought against two young people, one a senior in sociology at the University of Tennessee, at the beginning of this year.  I have struggled to even partially comprehend the level of attrocities, the terror committed, the pain inflicted upon two other human beings.  And I remain stunned in the aftermath of verifing this tragedy is very real.

This is a story that has not hit the mainstream media and would not be noticed at all, if not for the local Knoxville press and the blogosphere at large.  Like me, people across America and beyond are struggling to understand why this story has received practically no coverage when this case sincerely makes the Missouri monster, Michael Devlin, seem like a boy scout in comparison.  And Devlin’s attrocities committed against two young boys will have me cheering if and when he is put to death…if I live so long to see it.

This case is much, much worse across the board.

Is the evil committed in this case too gruesome for media to report?  (Doubtful.)  Is it that murder has become so commonplace today that this attrocity is not even considered “news” in our wholly narcissistic society?  (Perhaps.)  Is it because there was no chase to cover, no developing story to grab our attention, no manifesto sent by these evils to NBC?  (Undoubtedly.)

Could it be that our mainstream media has a specific agenda regarding race and hate crimes, under which this story doesn’t have a place?  Is it that the two murdered young people were white and the five evil monsters who carjacked the couple, gang-raped and sodomized them, mutilated and tortured them so horribly were black thugs…and there is no Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson to find this event reprehensible and scream for justice?  (Inarguably.)

I join a quickly growing host of people who seek answers and absolutely demand that this story be told.  And I ask you to join me in doing the same.  Regardless of one’s opinion as to why this story has not received attention and far beyond the fact that the assailants are black, their hatred of humanity is terrifyingly clear for the world to see through their methods of orchestrating the ends of two innocent, young lives.

May God bless and bring comfort to the families and so many friends of Channon Christian, 21, and 23-year-old Christopher Newsom.

Be clearly warned:  This post is extremely graphic.

On Saturday evening, January 6, 2007, Christopher and Channon left on a date to have dinner and find fun in Knoxville.  At around 12:30 a.m., Channon called her parents and told her father that they were headed to join some friends at one of their houses, but would be home in a couple of hours.

But the couple never made it.  They met the incarnations of evil.

At a location that authorities will not release, Channon and Christopher were carjacked by three black thugs.  They were robbed and beaten, bound, gagged and blindfolded, and taken to a house where a young black woman only 18 years of age, was there waiting to join the party. Once at the house, Christopher was repeatedly sodomized and gang-raped by ALL four and brutally beaten, while Channon was forced to watch and listen to his screams of agony as the evil ones laughed and drooled in their joy.  Then the group turned their sights to Channon and ALL four repeatedly and brutally gang-raped and sodomized her, while Christopher was forced to watch and listen helplessly.

At some point during that Sunday, it was reported the group used a box cutter to castrate Christopher, forcing Channon to watch this unbearable torture.  Then he was shot three times.  At some point, Christopher was soaked with gasoline and set afire, but I can find no credible information as to when or where.  Christopher was wrapped up in bedsheets and/or a comfortor and taken away by one of the thugs to be dumped nearby.  Police have clearly stated their belief that Christopher was dead by nightfall.

Meanwhile, the remaining four continued to rape, beat, sodomize and urinate upon Channon repeatedly, and they did so throughout Sunday and late into the night before Monday’s dawn.  They sprayed a household disenfectant into her mouth and other orifices – not to poison or kill her, but to try and destroy their DNA evidence.  The evils used the same box cutter to completely sever one of her breasts, apparently while she was still alive.  She may have been strangled and she was certainly set afire.  Then Channon was completely dismembered, her body parts thrown into trash bags. And the incarnates of evil scattered to the four winds. When Channon and Christopher failed to return home that Sunday morning, nor could either be reached by cell phone overnight, their frantic parents notified Knoxville police and a large scale search ensued across the area.Shortly after Noon that Sunday, Christopher’s body was found by a railroad worker wrapped in “a sheet or a comfortor,” laying where it had been thrown alongside some railroad tracks on the seedy east side of town.  His body had been mutilated and beaten mercilessly, he had been bound with rope or bootlaces, shot three times, and his body had been badly burned using an accellerant. When Channon could not be found overnight, a search warrant was issued to her cell phone provider and they were finally able to trace her phone signal to the nearest tower by the end of the day.  Her family and police found her abandoned vehicle  late Monday only about two blocks away from where Christopher’s body was found and, by the way, about two blocks from where their tortures and murders had been committed. From the vehicle, forensic teams were able to lift a fingerprint that was a perfect match for one Lamaricus Devall Davidson, a local thug who was released in August 2006 after serving time in the state penitentiary for multiple convictions on aggravated robbery and carjacking from Madison County.

On Tuesday mid-afternoon, Police swarmed Davidson’s residence of record, a rental home he shared with his half-brother Letalvis Cobbins and Cobbins’ live-in lover, Valerie Coleman, 18.  Cobbins is also a convicted felon.  He was convicted on felonious third-degree attempted robbery in Queens County, New York in 2003, although I cannot ascertain if he ever spent any time behind bars.

Police found no one inside the house and the front door was open.  What they did find was an unrecognizable body that had been brutalized, mutilated, dismembered and contained within five separate trash bags stuffed into a large trash can in the kitchen.  The Knox County ME later identified the body as Channon Christian.

Police now began a search for Davidson and Cobbins, whom they described as “persons of interest.”

On Thursday morning, county, state and federal authorities tracked down Cobbins and George Thomas hiding out at a friend’s home in Lebanon, Kentucky.  Later that afternoon, police tracked down Davidson hiding out in a vacant house in the Mechanicsville area.  When police apprehended him, he began crying uncontrollably, according to a statement made by the Knox County DA.

In two separate searches of the residence (before and after Davidson’s arrest), police seized a ton of inflamatory evidence in addition to the loaded .22 pistol police recovered from Davidson’s person and a .9mm taken from Cobbins at the time of their arrests.  There was a .30 caliber rifle, two empty boxes of .22 ammo, a few empty .22 casings, a 9mm magazine (with Cobbins’ fingerprints), loose .22 and .38 Special bullets, gasoline- and blood-soaked clothing, blankets and clothing fragments, hair, socks, shoes, a gun cleaning kit, several cell phones, a silver I-Pod, a near empty spray bottle of household disinfectant, two red gas cans, and a plastic bag with more hair and socks…to name merely a few of the police evidence listings.

Soon after the initial three arrests, police began chatting with Vanessa Coleman, Cobbins’ live-in and mother of his two young children.  Coleman was discovered when police raided the Lebanon, KY house to find Cobbins and Thomas.  Considered a witness at first, she described to police what had happened in the house and that she had seen some of the attrocities.  As is now known, she was a very active participant every step of the way of  Channon’s and Christopher’s torture and demise.

Coleman was finally arrested in early February in Lebanon, Kentucky and fought extradition back to Tennessee for weeks.  She’s there now, though.  Unlike the other thugs, Coleman (also indigent) managed to secure representation by a private attorney, although people cannot conceive of who is paying what will be her huge legal tab.  All of the attorneys are certified as being qualified to represent death penalty cases.

Meanwhile, back at the jail, Davidson, Cobbins and Thomas all coughed up blame on each other after their arrests, and Davidson provided the name of  a fourth man, Eric Boyd.  It was Boyd, they said, who had taken Christopher’s dead body away.  Boyd was the worst one of all, they all declared.  Boyd was soon picked up, as well.

To make a long and potentially confusing legal story short, there are federal and state crimes cited in this matter.  Davidson, Cobbins and Thomas each face 46 charges from the Knox County Grand Jury of premeditated murder, kidnapping, rape, robbery and theft.  Vanessa Coleman also faces 40 charges from Knox County of premeditated murder, kidnapping, rape, robbery and theft.  There are also weapons charges involved, since Davidson and Cobbins were felons.

As you will see if you view the indictment linked below and review these statutes, these charges are vague and wide and, as such, will give a jury a great deal of room with which to convict these monsters.

Federal carjacking charges were also filed against Davidson, Cobbins and Thomas, although those charges were withdrawn.  In my opinion, the reason for this is so that the state may go forward on their case and, in the event the jury fails to serve sound judgement or deliver significant sentences, the feds can then reinstate their charges under a separate trial.  And the fed charges carry very hefty mandatory sentences.

Eric Boyd, a convicted serial robber and fellow felon, was No Billed by Knox County on all the counts levied against his thug pals, but has been indicted by the Federal Grand Jury as an accessory after the fact.  This thug was contacted by Davidson during the wee hours of Monday morning, who described to Boyd the carjacking, tortures and murders at his house.  Boyd helped Davidson to escape the area later that evening.  Boyd let Davidson make a myriad of phone calls from his own cell phone and helped him break into the vacant house on Reynolds Street in the Mechanicsville neighborhood, where police later apprehended Davidson and the .22 pistol he was carrying.

The level of complete depravity of these five is horrific in itself and, at very least of the issues involved, is that this case provides a clear snapshot of the level to which our society has plunged.

Monsters walk among us.

A hearing on various pretrial motions in the cases of Davidson, Cobbins and Thomas and Coleman is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, May 17 in Knoxville.

From Mark Alexander comes this compelling article regarding race issues in Murder in Black and White.I cannot possible agree more with Mr. Alexander’s assertion, “This appalling attack is more than a case study in sociopathic evil. It is also a case study in journalistic malpractice.”  And I wholly embrace the entirety of his posting, as well.
